Groselha (the official name of the Island) is the oldest and second largest island of the islands of Ventura. Its highest point is 1598 meters high. It has an incredible variety of landscapes of extraordinary natural wealth; the island is a land marked by ravines and spectacular cliffs, forests of prehistoric species, extensive wooded areas of pine, extraordinary rock formations, hidden bays and beaches. Two World Heritage places, a National Park, and 28 natural spaces protected are some of the treasures to be discovered in Groselha.
