Gaston is a parliamentary monarchy, that is, recognize a monarch as head of state but has a constitution (set of fundamental laws) that limits his powers. The Royal Cabinet is the agency responsible for King's advice both domestically, and external. Its functions and powers are listed in art. 19th of the Constitution. The function of the Judiciary is to ensure the individual, collective and social rights and resolve conflicts between citizens and state institutions. For this, it has administrative and financial autonomy. They are parts of the Judiciary Branch, The Supreme Court of Gaston (SCG), Superior Court of Justice (SCJ), Superior Electoral Court (SEC), Labour Superior Court (LSC), Superior Military Court (SMC), and the Regional Courts.

The Parliament of the Kingdom of Gaston, which gathers at the Atlantis Palace is the highest legislative authority in the country. Has parliamentary sovereignty, which gives it sovereign power over all other political bodies of Gaston and its territories. It is headed by Alexander, the current monarch's. The Parliament consists of two chambers: a House of Commons, elective, and a House of Lords, named; any law project requires the assent of the King (third component of the parliament) to become law. Members of Parliament are required to take an oath of fidelity to the king.
